What is Bookatini?

In short: A bookclub for pasta lovers! We host drop-in style monthly events where small groups come together to chat over a chosen book while enjoying homemade Italian delights by yours truly

How many events do you host each month?

We do 2-3 homestyle bookclub dinners per month, then 1-2 extra events that range from author talks to book swaps to literary trivia.. We get bored easily, obviously.

Do I have to read the book (or even like reading?)

Honestly.. No! We often have guests who haven’t read the book but still come for the vibes, pasta and new pals!

What kind of book genres will be included?

We mix it up every month, but modern fiction is a good ballpark.

Can I come by myself?

ABSOLUTELY! The book club is just as much about reading as it is about making new connections. Rest assured you’re likely to leave with a bunch of new likeminded pals - and every month you’ll be surrounded by around 10-12 others.

When are the details of each event released?

Event dates and bookclub picks are announced around 8 weeks ahead, generally on the first of each month. VIPs get early access (on our Instagram channel!)

Do you cater to dietaries?

Absolutely do - just let us know before you book so we can chat through what’s possible

Do you take requests on books or food?

We like to keep things democratic, so if you’ve got a book you’re dying to talk about or something you’d love us to cook - sing out!

What’s the age range of guests?

It’s always a real mix - anywhere from 25 to 45. But we welcome anyone and everyone to the table!

Do you offer refunds or exchanges if I can’t make it?

We know stuff comes up, so we will happily exchange your seat for a future event if you give us a heads up 48 hours before
